Adventure Time Backpack Tutorial by PiggyNukka Adventure Time Backpack Tutorial by PiggyNukka
Please download for full view!!!!!

I had a lot of people ask me how I made my Fionna backpack after I started posting pictures of my costume. I had some problems finding direction on how to make mine online when I started doing the costume so I thought I would help those in need and make a tutorial. Now you can be a hero too!

This is my first time making a legit tutorial so if you see any spelling mistakes or something is confusing please feel free to let me know. I'm open to answering any questions that you have!!

Also thanks to ~Fruit-Snack for being my model for the bag at the end.

And as always, if you'd like to see more of my costume work, pictures, and info please visit my cosplay facebook page: [link]

amazing tutorial! Do you think if i sewed the cheap fabric inside the backpack (because i'm wanting to store stuff, and i don't really want the pillow.) to protect the fabric inside and make the fabric sturdier?

It might? It depends on what kind of fabric you use. Like, if you line it with canvas or something it might keep shape a bit but it will still be kind of floppy. That's ok though! I've seen a lot of cosplayers with floppy backpacks and it still looks fine. Good luck :D

hmmm with a little work i bet you could make a piece of shaped foam to so it would hold the shape and have storage space

Yeah, I just did it this way because I'm lazy. I had no problems sticking my phone and my debit card in there though and I don't have to carry much else.

Thank you! Yeah, I was surprised there are no tutorials or anything for the backpacks when I decided to cosplay Fionna. It took me awhile to come up with an idea so I thought it would be helpful to future Adventure Time cosplayers~ Thanks for the kind words :>

Wait, so you can`t put stuff in it?

You can! Just if you put it in the front part it'll look a little lumpy. When I was walking around con I put my stuff in the back of the pillow where it touched my back so it wouldn't look lumpy.

It's more for cosplay use then everyday.

or you could shape some hard foam and hollow it out so it would hold it's shape store stuff and not be lumpy
